Global Citizenship & Service Learning Tour in Rest of World

Immerse your students in an ethical, sustainable and worthwhile experience on our Wildlife Conservation and Community programme in South Africa. Groups will have the opportunity to stay for two weeks in one of South Africa’s exceptional game reserves. They will experience wildlife conservation first hand and assist game rangers with their daily activities. They will also have the opportunity to volunteer in local community and get a real taste of the diverse culture South Africa has to offer. This programme is available all year round but hurry, spaces are limited.

Sample itinerary

Day 1 – Travel South Africa

Day 2 – Arrive in Port Elizabeth. Transfer to Game Reserve and settle into accommodation. Dinner and introduction talk

Day 3 – Game drive. Elephant Sanctuary. Dinner and traditional dancing

Day 4 – Fence maintenance. Rhino Monitoring. Dinner and free time

Day 5 – Visit predator and rehab educational experience. Dinner and review session

Day 6 – Bird watching. Reptile centre. Dinner and snake demonstration

Day 7 – Visit Community Project

Day 8 – Visit Community Project

Day 9 – Visit Community Project

Day 10 – Visit Community Project

Day 11 – Game drive. Free time to relax. Evening game drive

Day 12 – Visit animal rehabilitation centre
